diagnosis!



Rachael update Tuesday Nov 15th:

Kidney cancer. bring it!
we start treatment today, YAY! :)
we'll have more details after we learn more. keep praying please she has a long hard road, but if anybody can beat this it's my girl! :)
She starts her "chemo" (it isn't traditional chemo) today. It's a drug tat will take blood supply away from the tumors starving them death and thereby shrinking them. Radiation isn't an option, too many tumors all through her abdomen. They'll be re-evaluating her spine in 4 weeks to see if they have shrunk enough to surgically stabilize her spine.

She (we) are extremely encouraged to finally be starting treatment and start beating this thing!!!

    Hope you sail through the treatments with little or no side effects. Although Tom said your hair could turn white and THAT could be interesting!! Thinking about you all the time, Rachael!
